The Five Divine Warriors and Qilin

(DISCLAIMER - Before anybody starts a flame war about Po having Oogways' staff. Shifu is not dead , he has simply retired and gives words of wisdom anytime Po or any of the rest comes to his little hut in the bamboo forest and asks for it. So nobody needs to bring it up and I won't bring up a specific person but you know who you are! Any comments about just that will be ignored.)


Yay I finished this before I had to go to back to school !

I wanted to update on some of my characters looks because it didn't really fit their personality (mostly because they were trying be like their parents. (Plus, I didn't want Zhan to have the same colors as his parents and I had to try hard with Lian's colors choices of red and orange.)

 I also wanted to make my binturong look younger and not as fluffy like other binturong cubs. I also took some white away from Gui Jie because I wanted to save that for grown up him. Lastly, I wanted Tao to look cuter than what did with her last time XD (plus her tail needed to be officially updated for her younger self).

However the biggest reason for their changes is so they can fit their future titles (and 2 current).

The titles I gave all of them (including Tigress and even Po a bit) is loosely based on Chinese constelations and the "Four Benevolent Animals" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Sym…)

By "loosely" I mean that I changed Tigress' title thing a bit because the vermilion bird is actually different from the phoenix but I mixed the fenghuang and vermilion bird together because I figured it would sound cooler.

It's such a shame that the Qilin doesn't have it's own constellation even though consider it's the 3rd most important mythical beast in China behind the Dragon and Fenghuang. Oh well, I have a story idea for Tao so I can give a sort of an explanation why that is.

I couldn't decide which color to pick for Zhan so I picked both because it is know as both.

I gave Lian a little hair thing because she wanted to have her fur to stick up like her baba but it didn't work out so she has to use a hair thing (she gets rid of when she's older for it was Tigress' suggestion to do so).

Anyway, Here's it is. I hope you like Lian and Zhan's new color changes!

I personally feel good about them.
